SBN - Tailor - CSSI

We are seeking a skilled Tailor to join our team on board one of our cruise ships.

As a Tailor, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our guests and crew by issuing and maintaining crew uniforms and assisting with guest requests for tailoring.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily operation and maintenance of the tailor shop, ensuring adherence to working hours and correct uniform usage
• Production, repair, distribution, and collection of uniforms
• Maintaining inventory levels within budget and accurate inventory reports
• Receiving and verifying raw materials and supplies
• Operating and maintaining equipment safely and efficiently
• Conducting regular inventory counts and spot checks
• Reporting any issues or discrepancies to the Executive Housekeeper

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Tailor
• High School Education preferred
• Physically able to carry at least 40 lbs
• Ability to work well and communicate effectively with shipboard personnel
• Multi-tasking and inventory management skills

Travel Requirements:

• Valid passport for a minimum of 6 months
• Flag state issued seaman book
• General flag state or flag state approved marine fitness medical
• English Marlin test at a minimum score of 80%
• Pre-employment medical examination
