As the FP&A Manager, you will build the financial foundations that inform partnership decisions. You will develop robust business cases, subscriber models, and comprehensive P&L analyses that link user growth to business outcomes. Your goal will be to provide actionable insights that enable leaders to make informed, data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and risks that inform partnership strategies and investment decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Distribution Partnerships, Accounting, Business Affairs, Legal, and Strategy, to translate financial insights into recommendations for business and senior leaders.
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve reporting for the partnership portfolio, covering KPIs, performance tracking, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Support annual planning, quarterly forecasting, and ongoing financial planning by partnering with business leaders to set data-driven targets.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes, reporting, and tooling to help Spotify evaluate and manage partnerships more effectively.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in FP&A, Strategy & Analytics, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, or a similar analytical role. Experience in a consumer subscription business is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to build sophisticated financial models and perform scenario analysis in dynamic environments.
  • Skill in translating commercial agreements into meaningful financial outcomes and experience working with Legal, Business Affairs, commercial, or deal teams.
  • Comfortable working with large datasets, with a preference for experience with SQL and an interest in applying AI tools to improve financial analysis and decision-making.
  • Strong attention to detail and sound judgment, with the ability to determine when additional analysis will add value and when to move forward.
  • Effective multitasking with multiple priorities while maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
  • Natural curiosity and a drive to explore problems in-depth to uncover insights that create business value.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and tailor recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Location

  • Preferred locations are Stockholm or London.
  • Flexible work arrangements available, with a request to come into the office 2-3 times per week.
