PreOp PACU Nurse PRN

We are seeking a PreOp PACU Nurse PRN to join our team at Focus Hand and Arm Surgery Center in Englewood, CO. As a PreOp PACU Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the preoperative and post-anesthesia care units. You will work closely with the surgical team to ensure that patients receive the best possible care before, during, and after surgery.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the preoperative and post-anesthesia care units
• Conduct preoperative assessments and develop individualized plans of care
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the physician
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth transitions of care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care

Requirements:

• Current RN licensure in the state of Colorado
• BSN degree from an accredited nursing program
• 1+ year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a perioperative setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
