Description
The Localization Project Manager will ensure exceptional service, quality, and cost efficiency on every project. Responsibilities include managing projects of different sizes, genres, and platforms; coordinating with clients, colleagues, and resources; and ensuring profitability, quality, and on-time delivery.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage projects from start to finish, incorporating contingencies
- Coordinate with clients, colleagues, and resources to ensure project goals are met
- Monitor and control project processes, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality assurance
- Communicate regularly with clients and internal stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and client expectations
Requirements:
- Experience in videogames and/or localization sectors
- Degree in Business, Audio, Translation, Computer Science, or Games Development
- Familiarity with production workflows and CAT tools (especially memoQ)
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Business-level command of Japanese (JLPT N2 or higher)
