Join HSBC and discover how valued you'll be. We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Sr. Associate Director, Technology Management. This role will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of technology strategies to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
As a Sr. Associate Director, Technology Management, you will be responsible for:
- Consolidating and operating models to eliminate duplication and establish clear ownership
- Designing and implementing a unified Control Centre operating model
- Building a cohesive team culture with shared goals, aligned processes, and a consistent approach to risk and control
- Acting as the single point of escalation for all Control Centre matters across the department
You will also be responsible for owning and maintaining the department's risk and control framework, driving a proactive risk culture, and producing risk reporting for senior management and governance forums.
In addition, you will be responsible for owning the department's operational resilience strategy, defining and maintaining impact tolerances, and overseeing business continuity planning, disaster recovery testing, and incident management processes.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in a senior technology risk, control, or operational resilience role within financial services, with a strong understanding of risk and control frameworks and a proven track record of leading and motivating cross-functional teams.
The role requires excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage credibly at senior and executive level, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions in ambiguous or complex environments.
Industry certifications such as CISM, CRISC, ITIL, or equivalent are desirable.
