Description
We are seeking a Regulatory Affairs Manager to support PCNA's compliance with the reporting requirements of the Transportation Recall Enhancement, Accountability, and Documentation (TREAD) Act Early Warning Reporting (EWR) program.
The successful candidate will serve as the primary liaison to the National Automotive Service Task Force (NASTF), ensuring that independent automotive service professionals have access to the information, training, and tools necessary to accurately diagnose and repair Porsche vehicles.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing, reviewing, monitoring, and submitting quarterly TREAD Early Warning Reporting (EWR) reports to the National Highway Transportation and Safety Administration (NHTSA)
- Serving as the primary point of contact for technical issues related to the Porsche Technical Service Information website
- Managing requests from Independent Repair Facilities and coordinating with Porsche AG to approve these requests
- Coordinating the In-Use Vehicle Performance (IUVP) testing program, including procuring vehicles, scheduling testing, inputting test results, and monitoring the loaner fleet
- Holding meetings with Porsche AG and PCNA colleagues to discuss customer complaints filed with the NHTSA
- Filing reports related to NHTSA Death and Injury inquiries or Standing General Orders
- Managing a contractor that assists with Recalls and IUVP tasks
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's degree
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in an OEM after-sales function
- Detailed knowledge of dealer network operations and automotive distribution infrastructure
- Familiarity with Porsche online and tester systems, such as PCSS, PIWIS, and TSI
- Excellent analytical and record-keeping skills
- Good understanding of data mining and data processing
- Broad knowledge of automotive technology and vehicle repair/service functions
