Description
The Marketing Intern will support the Communities Manager and Motorsports and Sports Marketing Manager with the coordination and execution of Porsche community, motorsports, golf, and sponsorship initiatives.
This internship is designed to provide exposure to the planning and execution of experiential marketing programs and events, while developing practical skills in marketing operations, event support, and brand strategy.
The intern will gain hands-on experience working with internal departments, vendors, and external partners, and will assist with administrative tasks, logistics coordination, and event tracking efforts across various Porsche programs.
This position requires an in-office presence three days per week. Mondays are mandatory and designated as a company-wide anchor day.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the planning and coordination of community, motorsports, and sponsorship events Support event logistics including vehicle tracking, scheduling, and vendor coordination Help prepare marketing materials, supplies, and event shipments Participate in cross-functional team meetings and help document action items Assist with budgeting and finance tasks such as processing invoices and expense tracking Contribute to event recaps and reports by gathering data, photos, and attendee feedback Aid in the development of presentation materials and sponsorship overviews Provide support during event execution as needed, including on-site logistics and hospitality Perform general administrative tasks (e.g., scheduling, document routing, research) Collaborate with internal and external partners to help ensure event consistency with brand standards
Travel arrangements are subject to a case-by-case basis and require HR approval. Travel Expense Responsibility: Employee is required to cover all travel-related expenses (e.g., transportation, lodging, meals) out of pocket at the time of travel, with reimbursement provided in accordance with company expense policies and submission requirements.
Qualifications:
Education: Current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business or related field/experience
Experience (Job and Industry): Previous internship or academic project experience in marketing, events, or motorsports is a plus Experience collaborating cross-departmentally and ideating, managing, planning and executing large-scale projects An understanding and working knowledge of motorsports An understanding of traditional and non-traditional brand marketing strategies A track record of thoughtful execution of innovative ideas Experience managing third-party vendors and onsite logistics Ability to multitask and manage time in a fast-paced environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Collaborative and eager to learn Valid driver's license preferred
