Description
We are looking for a Software Engineer, Vehicle Software, V&V to join our Air Dominance & Strike team. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for leading the definition, design, and execution of product verification and validation activities throughout the product development life cycle.
Your responsibilities will include implementing and automating software verification tests by defining and delivering test cases written against software requirements, analysing and simulating requirements per customer specifications or developed internal product requirements, and reviewing use cases, requirements, and specifications for products to ensure that requirements and specifications can be verified and validated.
You will also execute complex testing, perform in-depth statistical analysis, and interpret results independently, ensuring that testing and results are traced to requirements; activities are completed with objective evidence. You will summarise results in reports with conclusions or recommendations.
As a hands-on subject matter expert, you will lead ad hoc testing and potential failure mode analysis to characterise product designs and performance. You will conduct V&V Design Reviews as specified in project plans, and in accordance with company procedure.
You will maintain knowledge of current regulatory requirements and standards as they pertain to the development and testing of products. You will provide technical leadership to a growing team, gain a working understanding of Anduril's business lines, and collaborate with leaders to build cohesive, end-to-end experiences for our users.

We require a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. You will have 4+ years of experience in Software testing or related technical experience, with experience with requirements-based verification and implementation of verification strategies with a strong emphasis on automated tests.
You will have extensive knowledge of software development, processes, and verification tools, such as C/C++, Python, and track record of architecting software test plans in the Aerospace and Defence space.
You will have in-depth knowledge of requirements management, risk-based testing approaches, defect tracking, and configuration control. You will have strong knowledge of software testing principles and methodologies, software development life cycle, and software verification techniques.
You will also have knowledge of software quality assurance tools and techniques.
Preferred qualifications include experience standing up automated hardware-in-the-loop testing infrastructure, functional knowledge of software development, verification, and validation requirements for DO-178 and MIL-HDBK-516C, and experience developing testable requirements and understanding of DO-178 and MIL-HDBK-516C verification objectives.
