Description
We are seeking native speakers of various languages to join our team of linguistic reviewers for video games. As a member of our bank of candidates, you will be contacted when we have an opportunity to work on a project.
Your main tasks will be: Correcting texts and game content (spelling, syntax, typography). Verifying the consistency of texts and proposing changes where necessary. Writing error reports. Performing minor and simple translations. Verifying that subtitles correspond to audio tracks.
Requirements: Mastery of German (spoken and written). Mastery of English (written and spoken). Ability to communicate effectively in English (oral and written) due to the need to maintain constant communication with clients and teams outside of Quebec. Residency in the Montreal area. Availability to work from home or in the office according to project requirements. Canadian citizenship, permanent resident, work permit holder, or in the process of obtaining a work permit. Ability to juggle multiple tasks while efficiently managing time. Comfort with digital technologies (computers, game consoles, touch screens). Interest in the video game industry. Relevant experience in a related field or in the video game industry (an asset). Experience in a similar position (an asset).
