Medical Assistant

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team at Memorial Health - Family Medicine in Rincon, GA. As a Medical Assistant, you will assist healthcare professionals with patient care, administrative tasks, and medical procedures. This is a full-time position working days with no weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with patient check-in, registration, and preparation for exams
• Take vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
• Prepare patients for exams by cleaning and disinfecting equipment
• Assist with medical procedures, such as injections and blood draws
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Perform administrative tasks, such as answering phones and scheduling appointments

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of a medical assisting program or equivalent experience
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
