Join our Performance Marketing department as a Team Lead, leading the Display & App team of three Specialists. Your team drives user acquisition and engagement across paid social, programmatic display, and app promotion , for both guests and hosts. You will report directly to the VP of Performance Marketing and work closely with Paid Search, Affiliate & Partnerships, BI, and MarTech.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading a team of three Specialists across App Promotion, Host Display, and Guest Display.
- Owning the strategy and execution for paid social (Meta, Google, TikTok) and app install campaigns (Apple Search Ads, Google App, Meta).
- Reworking bidding strategies from break-even models toward LTV-based approaches, with granular calculations per channel, OS, and geo.
- Building and scaling remarketing setups on Google and Meta for both Host and Guest audiences.
- Developing a scalable creative testing framework to systematically improve ad performance.
- Expanding into new channels (TikTok, YouTube, Google Display for hosts) with a test-and-scale approach.
- Driving full-funnel user journey thinking , moving away from 3rd-party remarketing toward in-house, segment-specific strategies.
- Auditing and fixing campaign settings: targeting consistency across languages, countries, and platforms.
- Collaborating closely with BI, MarTech, and the Bidding Squad to implement automated bidding for Display.
- Coaching and elevating your team , setting priorities, driving accountability, and developing each team member.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Paid Social, Display Advertising, or App Marketing.
- A proven track record managing campaigns on Meta Ads, Google Ads (Display/App), and ideally Apple Search Ads.
- Experience with LTV-based bidding or mobile user acquisition economics.
- A strong analytical mindset , comfortable with large datasets, attribution models, and building business cases from data.
- Experience leading or coaching a small team (3–8 people) to deliver ambitious results.
- A testing-first mentality: structured approaches to creative testing, audience segmentation, and channel evaluation.
- Familiarity with remarketing setup and full-funnel campaign architecture.
- Fluency in English; German or any additional language is a plus.
- University degree in business, marketing, economics, data science, or related field.
- Proficiency in Excel/Sheets; SQL or coding skills are a strong plus.
- Experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) to improve marketing workflows, analysis, or content production is a plus.
