Description
NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Mixed Signal Design Engineer to join their Mixed Signal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the architecture definition and design of CMOS high-speed interface circuits and mixed-signal circuits. They will also be involved in silicon validation, debugging, characterization, and bring-up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement high-speed interface circuits
- Create projects including high-speed transceivers and high-frequency PLLs
- Involved in the design, simulation, and verification of mixed-signal circuits
- Lead mask designers and provide mentorship for floorplan and layout design
- Support lab characterization of silicon and tackle circuit design challenges in deep submicron CMOS
- Take designs through implementation and productizing, collaborating with multi-functional teams
Requirements:
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, PhD preferred (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of design experience in CMOS analog/mixed-signal circuits
- Working knowledge of Cadence custom design tools, circuit simulator, and timing analysis tool
- Exceptional teamwork and interpersonal skills, with experience in leading and mentoring designers
- Extensive design experience in Data Converters, Tx, Rx, CDR, PLL for high-speed IO interfaces
- In-depth understanding of deep submicron CMOS process and related circuit design issues
- Proven experience in silicon bring-up, debugging, and use of lab instrumentation
- Knowledge of system-level timing budget, signal integrity, and power integrity is a plus
- Experience in Verilog, Matlab, Nanotime is helpful
