Key responsibilities include:

• Performing system safety analyses, including Functional Hazard Analysis (FHA), Preliminary System Safety Assessments (PSSA), System Safety Assessments (SSA), and Common Cause Analysis (CCA).
• Collaborating with design, reliability, and certification teams to ensure safety requirements are met.
• Participating in design reviews, providing critical safety-related input.
• Utilizing innovative approaches to solve complex and challenging problems.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of safety processes and tools.
• Taking personal responsibility for your continued professional growth and development, with full support from your manager.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience in system safety engineering, preferably in the aerospace industry.
• Familiarity with safety standards such as ARP4761, ARP4754A, DO-178C, and DO-254.
• Experience with safety analysis tools (e.g., Fault Tree+, CAFTA, or similar).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
