Description

As Regional Insurable Risk Manager, you'll own insurable risk management for the US and provide oversight across the Americas. You'll be a key connection point between country entities, Group Insurance, brokers and insurers supporting policy placement and renewal, claims management and delivery of the Group Insurable Risk strategy across the region.

Responsibilities:

  • Own insurable risk management for the US and provide oversight across the Americas
  • Partner with country entities, Group Insurance, brokers and insurers to support policy placement, renewal and claims management
  • Implement the Group Insurable Risk strategy locally and represent local entity needs where required
  • Support optimization of insurable risk financing through the Group captive and preferred strategic insurers
  • Maintain regular dialogue with senior country and regional stakeholders and provide clear practical advice
  • Help determine local insurable risk appetite where required
  • Oversee local processes supporting global programs including premium collections and documentation
  • Support sourcing of local covers and relevant infills such as Crime, PI and Cyber where needed
  • Govern operational delivery and controls including operating model improvements, management information and reporting frameworks and budget and cost center management
  • Act as the US Third Party Engagement Manager for insurable risk suppliers including contract monitoring and supplier management activities
  • Contribute to reporting for boards, regulators and committees and support planning and budgetary reporting

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated expertise across business insurance classes relevant to banking and multinational organizations
  • Strong knowledge of insurance regulation and market practices
  • ACII, CPCU, ARM or similar professional designation, or equivalent demonstrable experience
  • Experience working within a global organization across geographic and cultural boundaries
  • Experience implementing global strategies with significant stakeholder management complexity
  • Clear communication and practical advice to senior stakeholders
  • Advanced written and spoken English, with Spanish and Portuguese preferred
