Description
We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain data pipelines that support analytics and business intelligence initiatives. This role involves both enhancing existing pipelines and developing new ones to integrate data from diverse internal and external sources.
The ideal candidate will have advanced SQL and Informatica skills, experience in ETL development, and a foundational understanding of dimensional data modeling. Experience with DBT is a plus.
Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and ETL workflows, enhancing and optimising existing data pipelines, building new data ingestion pipelines, and using Informatica to develop and manage ETL processes.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, and 2-4 years of hands-on experience in data engineering or ETL development using Informatica.
They will also have advanced-level proficiency in writing, optimising, and troubleshooting SQL queries, intermediate experience building and managing pipelines using ETL platforms, and at least 3 years using Informatica for data integration tasks.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams, are essential for this role.
