Application Engineering Co-op

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as an Application Engineering Co-op. As a co-op student, you will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document software application requirements
• Design application architecture, considering scalability, performance, and security aspects
• Write clean, efficient code using relevant programming languages and frameworks
• Perform unit, integration, and system testing to identify and resolve bugs
• Deploy applications to production environments
• Provide ongoing maintenance, resolve production issues, and address user concerns
• Create clear and concise technical documentation for applications
• Monitor application performance and identify areas for improvement

Basic Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary co-op program in a related field
• Relevant experience in software development
• Proficiency in relevant programming languages like Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, etc.
• Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP, 802.11, QoS)
• Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytic tools
• Familiarity with database technologies like SQL, MySQL
• Superior troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot complex technical issues
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams

The total cash compensation range for this position is expected to be: $17.60 - $25.48
