Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as an Application Engineering Co-op. As a co-op student, you will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document software application requirements
- Design application architecture, considering scalability, performance, and security aspects
- Write clean, efficient code using relevant programming languages and frameworks
- Perform unit, integration, and system testing to identify and resolve bugs
- Deploy applications to production environments
- Provide ongoing maintenance, resolve production issues, and address user concerns
- Create clear and concise technical documentation for applications
- Monitor application performance and identify areas for improvement
Basic Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary co-op program in a related field
- Relevant experience in software development
- Proficiency in relevant programming languages like Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, etc.
- Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP, 802.11, QoS)
- Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytic tools
- Familiarity with database technologies like SQL, MySQL
- Superior troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
The total cash compensation range for this position is expected to be: $17.60 - $25.48
