Description
We are seeking a Production Coordinator to join our manufacturing team at Anduril who will be responsible for organising and coordinating all aspects of a production.
As a Production Coordinator, you will work on cutting-edge technology aimed at advancing the state-of-the-possible. Your responsibilities will include monitoring, tracking, and moving parts through the production flow to ensure timely delivery to next production location.
Key responsibilities: Monitor, track, and move parts as required through the production flow to ensure timely delivery to next production location. Coordinate physical movement of parts through receiving inspection, stock rooms, purchasing, production resources or any applicable work centre. Ensure parts are handled and protected properly and within company specifications. Coordinate off-site processing of parts to ensure on-time delivery as required. Support the manufacturing/production, supply chain and inventory teams cross-functionally. MRP/ERP/MES data is and remains clean and accurate. Assist with resolution of inventory inaccuracies to help supply planning and production teams meet expected demand schedules. Work with production managers to ensure all metrics-driven action requirements are completed. Develop and maintain reports to highlight needs, deliverables, and constraints as required for internal and customer use. Communicate part status and estimated completion dates to leadership weekly. Support logistics process through innovative staging of workflow as required. Support management of material certifications as required to prevent use of uncertified materials. Support production and inventory personnel with 'return to stock' and inventory purge actions. Organise and maintain the physical and electronic library for production-related tooling and calibration database as required. Support assigned production cells with work order management activities as required. Must be able to lift and move items of 20 pounds or more on a regular basis and repetitively lift weights on raised surfaces. Must be able to climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop on a frequent basis and for extended periods. Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalency certificate. 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing, shipping, or logistics environment. 3+ years of experience supporting administrative processes. Experience with MRP/ERP/MES (Netsuite, Oracle or equivalent systems) Strong computer skills, familiar with the full suite of MS Office products. Tableau, Confluence, SQL or any reporting feature experience. Must be a U.S. person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities
Preferred qualifications: 5+ years of experience handling parts in a manufacturing setting. Experience in organising files and documents. Inventory experience. Experience in aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, or electronic manufacturing environments. APICS certification. Lean manufacturing principles
Additional requirements: Willing to travel 15% Willing to work assigned shift hours, overtime, and weekends as needed. Estimated shift times: 1st shift: 7 AM - 3:30 PM; 2nd shift: 3 PM - 11:30 PM Standing for long periods of time, climbing up and down ladders, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching may be required to perform the functions of this position Able to lift up to 25lbs unassisted
Salary: Production Coordinator/Level 2: $28 - $38/hour Production Coordinator/Level 3: $33 - $43/hour
