Description
As a Neuro ICU Registered Nurse RN at Memorial Health University Medical Center, you will assess, monitor, and care for critically ill neurological patients. You will administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders, interpret cardiac rhythms and neurological assessments, and monitor and manage ventilated patients and advanced life-support equipment.
You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes, educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery expectations, maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record, and respond quickly and effectively to changes in patient condition.
To qualify, you must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, have a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia or Compact State Licensure, and hold current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification or be able to obtain it within an established timeframe.
