Pro Team Operations Manager

The New York Red Bulls are seeking a Pro Team Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the First Team and Second Team.

The successful candidate will provide overall leadership and accountability for team operations, ensuring smooth and consistent training, matchday, travel, and logistical experiences.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing leadership and oversight for First Team and Second Team operations
• Ensuring training, matchday, travel, and day-to-day logistics run smoothly and consistently
• Establishing operating standards across professional teams while allowing flexibility for competitive and developmental needs
• Anticipating and resolving operational issues quickly to minimize distractions for players and coaching staff
• Overseeing team logistics and travel, including planning and execution of team travel, transportation, accommodations, itineraries, and on-site logistics
• Managing logistics for preseason, tournaments, and special competitions
• Coordinating player onboarding, relocation, housing, and offboarding across both pro teams
• Partnering with internal stakeholders and external counsel on immigration and visa processes
• Overseeing operational budgets, vendor relationships, and equipment logistics
• Identifying efficiencies and priorities to support financial planning and resource allocation
• Ensuring compliance with MLS rules and regulations, including roster compliance and the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA)
• Maintaining accurate league documentation and reporting
• Partnering closely with Legal and League Affairs on regulatory matters

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
• 8–10+ years of experience in professional soccer; MLS experience strongly preferred
• Direct experience managing team operations, travel, logistics, and player administration
• Strong working knowledge of MLS rules, roster mechanisms, and the CBA preferred
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities, exercise sound judgment, and remain calm under pressure
• Clear, effective communicator with strong organizational skills
• Willingness to work non-traditional hours and travel as required

The base salary for this position is $120,000. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay is subject to change and may be modified.
