Description
Farmers Group seeks an experienced Guidewire Developer II to be responsible for the development, design, testing and/or deployment of system functionality. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Guidewire and a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions.
firmly grounded in Guidewire, the ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the platform and its various components, including GW Billing Center, GW Policy Center, GW Producer Engage and GW Contact Manager. They will be able to design, develop, test and deploy system functionality, as well as provide expertise in the solution design and functionality of business applications.
The role requires a strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and evaluate existing manual and computerized systems/procedures to improve efficiency. The candidate will also be responsible for researching and developing techniques for automation, documenting and implementing programs according to installation standards and conventions, and analyzing and making recommendations on the need for system backup, security, restart/recovery, balance controls and recommend approaches for meeting such needs.
The successful candidate will be a team player, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment. They will be able to identify complex errors that occur in application testing and analyzing results to trouble shoot and execute root cause analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test and deploy system functionality
- Provide expertise in the solution design and functionality of business applications

Requirements:
- Minimum 4-8 years of work experience
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent
- GW certification with GW Certification
- Strong background in Guidewire
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
- Strong understanding of the platform and its various components, including GW Billing Center, GW Policy Center, GW Producer Engage and GW Contact Manager
