Description
We are seeking a Key Account Manager to join our team at AVL DiTEST GmbH in Graz. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing defined key customers and strategically developing existing customer relationships.
Your focus will be on identifying growth potential and actively contributing to the expansion of our business areas, particularly in the Automotive, Off-Highway (Agricultural & Construction Vehicles), Railway, or Infrastructure sectors.
You will work closely with internal departments such as Development, Service, Operations, and Marketing to ensure the successful implementation of customer requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Manage key customers and develop existing customer relationships strategically
- Identify growth potential and contribute to the expansion of business areas
- Win new customers and recognize additional business opportunities
- Utilize industry and market knowledge to identify relevant contacts and decision-makers
- Coordinate requirements, projects, and activities between customers and internal departments
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure successful implementation of customer requirements
- Analyze markets and framework conditions to develop suitable sales and account strategies
Requirements:
- Completed commercial or technical-economic education (TU, university, or college)
- Several years of experience in technical sales, business development, or account management
- Ideally, experience in one of the areas: Automotive, Off-Highway, Railway, or Infrastructure
- Professional appearance, excellent communication and consulting skills, and entrepreneurial thinking
- Negotiation skills, customer orientation, and strong closing abilities
- Ability to reconcile different requirements and interests successfully
- Travel readiness, intercultural understanding, and very good German and English language skills

The minimum salary for this position is €70,975.10 gross per year according to the collective agreement of the vehicle industry.
