Product Stewardship Coordinator

We are seeking a Product Stewardship Coordinator to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and proper handling of our lubricant products portfolio. This includes identifying and communicating emerging product safety, environmental, and transportation regulations, as well as maintaining component hazard and regulatory information. You will also prepare Safety Data Sheets and label text for our products according to the Global Harmonized System, and evaluate products and components against various governmental safety, environmental and transportation regulations. Additionally, you will respond to customer and internal product stewardship inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure safe and proper handling of Fuchs' lubricant products portfolio
• Identify and communicate emerging product safety, environmental, and transportation regulations
• Maintain component hazard and regulatory information
• Prepare Safety Data Sheets and label text for Company's products according to the Global Harmonized System
• Evaluate products and components against various governmental safety, environmental and transportation regulations
• Respond to customer and internal Company product stewardship inquiries

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology or related field
• 2 years of related experience
• Experience creating and reviewing Safety Data Sheets and product labels in accordance with global standards
• Experience evaluating product safety, hazard communication, and exposure scenarios of chemicals
• Experience verifying and maintaining the compliance of lubricants and greases with global chemical regulations
• Experience overseeing and maintaining lifecycle environmental compliance of chemical products under regional regulatory frameworks
