Job Summary

The Manufacturing Lab Supervisor will support the day-to-day blending operation by maintaining the schedule, supervising the blending team, performing quality tests, and managing the ISO 9001 program.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality testing on inbound and outbound products and blends.
• Supervise blending personnel and lead project management for blending/bulk distribution.
• Quality Management Systems coordinator including ISO 9001 program.
• Maintain production schedule and purchase raw materials (bulk production and lab).
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment as well as maintain equipment maintenance intervals.
• Act as bulk inventory control coordinator.
• Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion.

Requirements

• Minimum B.S. in Chemistry, Biology or Engineering but will consider Business.
• 2 years in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Previous experience production scheduling and lean six sigma, a plus.
• Strong communication/presentation skills.
• Computer Skills - specifically Excel, Power Point, SAP and quality management software.
• Ability to periodically lift up to 50lbs during shift.
