Junior Composite Design Engineer

You will join the Composite Design team as a Junior Composite Design Engineer, reporting to the Head of Composite Design or their designee. The role is based in Maranello, Italy, and supports the delivery and contribution of departmental and organisational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design composite components and assemblies for the F1 race car.
• Conduct design studies for the initial concept stage of the car design program, including component and assembly idea generation and layout/packaging.
• Develop a knowledge of the F1 technical regulations.
• Design project ownership and completion for a variety of composite related assemblies, including geometry and construction final definition.

• Carry out day-to-day tasks efficiently and within agreed timescales.
• Ensure work meets expected service, quality, and compliance standards.
• Demonstrate accountability and professionalism in all activities.

Team & Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Build positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Participate in meetings, briefings, and forums as required.
• Respond to queries within scope, escalating more complex matters when necessary.

Compliance & Governance:

• Adhere to relevant legislation, organisational policies, and internal controls.
• Handle information responsibly, including confidential or sensitive data.
• Support audit, governance, and risk management activities as required.
