Description
Join us as a Mobile Plant Operator and make a difference in the waste management industry. As a Mobile Plant Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and proper operation and maintenance of site vehicles. Your role will involve receiving and directing waste, loading RDF and commodity bales, and performing daily equipment checks.
Your core responsibilities will include:
- Performing daily equipment checks
- Completing daily report forms for all equipment used, including mileage and service records
- Operating with diligence and care to ensure Health and Safety parameters are strictly adhered to
- Providing a control of the waste directly at the point of unloading
- Cleaning the working area in and out of the cab
- Informing the shift leader about all accidents, unsuitable waste, etc.
We are looking for someone with experience in working in a Waste Management, Warehousing or Construction environment. You should have mechanical knowledge, mobile plant operation and maintenance experience, and a full driving licence. A robust and resilient attitude, with good attention to detail, is also essential.
