About this role
You will join the EMEA ETF Development team which sits within BGM's Platform & Strategy pillar, with a primary focus on the market design, trading ecosystem, and liquidity architecture that underpin ETF growth. The team works at the intersection of product design, market structure, and regulation to ensure ETFs can be efficiently launched, traded, and scaled across diverse European markets.

What will you be doing?
Strategic Platform Development: Lead the design and implementation of scalable ETF products and operating models, supporting both complex and non-complex launches and enhancements across EMEA markets. Partner with trading desks, capital markets teams, and external market participants to enhance ETF market quality and resilience through purposeful product design. Product Innovation: Develop new market entry strategies, support wrapper evolution, and design ETP solutions for complex exposures such as digital assets and derivatives. Contribute to initiatives exploring evolving market practices, including extended trading hours, digital assets, and new settlement or trading models. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with global partners, including Product, Technology, Operations, and Market teams. Team Leadership: Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
What are we looking for?
Deep understanding of ETF ecosystem, market architecture, and regulatory environment. Hands-on experience in financial markets, digital assets, or equity derivatives preferred. Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects. Strong analytical, strategic, and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to innovate, solve problems, and drive operational efficiency. Commitment to BlackRock's culture, principles, and long-term vision.

Our hybrid work model
