The Technical Writer, Maritime role is part of Anduril's Mission Success team, which supports all products that Anduril builds. The successful candidate will create and maintain user documentation across diverse business lines.
The Technical Writer will partner with product and operations teams to deliver accurate, updated, and easy-to-understand documentation on how to use Anduril products. This involves working closely with engineers, operations, and subject matter experts to understand products, identify user workflows, and use documentation to close gaps.
Key responsibilities include:
- Generating, reviewing, and editing user-focused documentation
- Evaluating and prioritizing tasks to support product documentation efforts
- Communicating and managing expectations with stakeholders
- Building a culture of technical documentation
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience generating technical documentation
- Experience writing technical user-facing documentation
- Experience reading and interpreting engineering documentation
- Experience building content in various formats (Word, XML, etc.)
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance
Preferred qualifications:
- Military exposure and experience, particularly with military technical documentation writing and formatting standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for excellent documentation and user experience
- Previous experience creating technical documentation in Aerospace and Defense
- Experience delivering content on fast-paced, complex projects with multiple stakeholders
The salary range for this role is $86,000-$149,000 USD per year.
