Description
We are seeking a Manager SAP ABAP Development to coordinate and assist in the development of new SAP software programs and applications as part of the global SAP S/4 HANA rollout project.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating and assisting other developers, analysts, and designers in conceptualizing and developing new SAP software programs and applications
- Assisting in the preparation and documentation of SAP software requirements and specifications
- Recommending, scheduling, and performing SAP software improvements and upgrades
- Writing, translating, and coding SAP software programs and applications according to specifications
- Running and monitoring SAP software performance tests on new and existing programs
- Conducting thorough code reviews to identify and fix bugs and ensure adherence to coding standards
- Supporting the implementation of automated testing procedures to validate the functionality and performance of the software
- Providing regular status reports on the quality of the software to management and stakeholders
The ideal candidate will have a college diploma or university degree in computer science or software engineering, and/or equivalent work experience. They should also have working technical knowledge of SAP programming languages, including ABAP, and certifications in SAP ABAP development.
In addition to the technical skills, the candidate should have strong knowledge of Fiori Apps and BTP, experience in leading and managing software developers, and hands-on experience working in integrated development environments, including SAP development tools.
