Tech Lead, ARC Team

Scale AI seeks a highly skilled Tech Lead for the ARC (Architecture, Reliability, & Compute) team supporting the Public Sector Engineering team.

As the lead, you will define how the company ships software, establishing patterns for deploying into complex government and high-security environments.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement secure, scalable backend systems for Public Sector customers
• Provide mentorship and manage performance of team members
• Own services or systems, defining long-term health goals and improving surrounding components
• Re-architect the stack for compliant or restrictive environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute backend solutions
• Participate in customer engagements and contribute to the platform roadmap

Salary Ranges:

• San Francisco, NY: $252,000-$362,000 USD
• Washington DC: $227,200-$326,000 USD
• St Louis: $188,800-$272,000 USD
