Master Thesis: Conversational AI and GenAI

We are seeking a highly motivated student to support the development of conversational AI solutions and digital assistants based on GenAI. As a part of our team, you will contribute to prompt engineering, build and integrate AI agents, and conduct market and competitive analyses.

Responsibilities:

• Support in designing, developing, and enhancing conversational AI solutions and digital assistants based on GenAI
• Contribute to prompt engineering: create, test, and optimise prompts to achieve the best possible results from GenAI models
• Support in building and integrating AI agents, e.g., on conversational platforms
• Conduct market, competitive, and feasibility analyses as well as research on new GenAI trends and use cases
• Support in gathering requirements with business units and testing solutions
• Support in preparing management presentations and organising workshops
• Optional: create prototypes, landing pages, or demos depending on knowledge level and project needs

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a master's program in (business) computer science, business administration, industrial engineering, data science, or a comparable field
• Enthusiasm for AI and GenAI, as well as initial exposure to topics such as prompt engineering, LLMs, or conversational AI
• Ideally, initial hands-on experience with AI tools or conversational platforms such as ElevenLabs, Cognigy, or others
• Initial hands-on experience in a corporate environment
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills combined with the ability to quickly grasp complex issues
• High degree of independence, proactivity, and flexibility, as well as a passion for working in cross-functional teams and trying new things
• Professional handling of MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
• Fluency in German and English
