Description
We are seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will plan, organize, and deliver physical therapy programs to help clients/patients/residents recover and improve their mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities.
Key responsibilities include: Conducting examinations, evaluations, and interventions for clients/patients/residents affected by injury or disease. Administering physical therapy interventions following safeguards. Documenting client information for evaluation and establishing therapeutic plans. Educating clients/patients/residents and their family members about treatment plans and self-exercises. Demonstrating knowledge of current research and incorporating it into daily treatment. Exhibiting flexibility with variable work schedules and assignments. Participating in activities to promote the department, Good Samaritan Society, and Sanford Health. Supervising assistants, aides, and students as needed. Providing ongoing education and training to peers in areas of expertise. Performing other related duties as requested by manager.
Requirements include: Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure. Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state(s) of practice. Valid driver's license when applicable. Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers required or within the first 60 days of employment.
