Senior Engineer, Chassis Software

We are seeking a Senior Engineer, Chassis Software to join our team in Shanghai. As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and defining core functions and progresses within the chassis system department. You will coordinate system and software development activities within cross-departmental organisations to ensure successful delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and define core functions and progresses within the chassis system department
• Coordinate system and software development activities within cross-departmental organisations
• Apply modern software tools and processes within an expert team for software development
• Design function specifications and software requirements of chassis systems like VMC, SbW, EMB
• Conduct MIL/SIL tests on software modules to ensure software quality
• Cooperate in project-oriented teams with customers and international development partners
• Prepare presentations for internal and external customers
• Collaborate in interdisciplinary project teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent education
• 5-10 years of experience in motion system development in the automotive industry
• Professional knowledge of model-based software development and programming with C, C++, Matlab/Simulink, Target Link, and model-based software testing using tools like TPT and Embedded Tester
• Deep knowledge of development with automotive SPICE processes according to current standards and methods for function and software development
• Basic knowledge of vehicle dynamics
• Driving license
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin, German is a plus
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to travel
