SAP SD Specialist (Automotive)

The Adler Pelzer Group, a prominent supplier of acoustic and thermal insulation parts to the automotive industry, is seeking an experienced SAP SD-OTC Automotive Senior Specialist. This role involves remote work, servicing plants and offices across Europe and globally.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide support and customisation for the SAP SD-OTC (Sales and Distribution/Order to Cash) module and EDI interchange-related transactions within SAP.
• Implement the SAP SD-OTC module in the current program for Italian factories.
• Manage SAP projects for these modules, including rollouts across company plants and implementation of new functionalities.
• Offer key user training and support.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support to employees across global sites and manage incident resolution.
• Analyse and develop the SAP SD-OTC and EDI integration processes.
• Develop and implement integration tests in the SAP SD-OTC environment.
• Serve as direct contact for external and internal customers or partners regarding SAP topics and implementations.

Requirements:

• Well-founded experience as a Senior Specialist in SAP SD-OTC modules.
• Essential knowledge of EDI context inside SAP, including customising, partner profiles parameterisation, and IDOCS-related transactions.
• Experience with common data exchange formats such as EDIFACT, VDA, X12 is beneficial.
• Programming know-how in ABAP and forms is advantageous.
• Experience in the automotive industry is required.
• Fluent English; proficiency in Spanish, Italian, French, or German is an advantage.
• High degree of personal responsibility for remote work.
• Ability to manage project business alongside day-to-day activities.
• Flexibility for international travel for occasional project-related purposes.
