Description
Anduril Industries is seeking an Electrical Systems Integration Engineer to join its Air Dominance and Strike (AD&S) Electrical Engineering Team in Costa Mesa, CA.
The team is responsible for developing high-reliability avionics, embedded processing, and power systems for Group 5 air vehicles and missile platforms. The successful candidate will work closely with avionics, systems, manufacturing, and flight test teams to support the development and test of air vehicle designs.
Key responsibilities:
- Create support documentation, including block diagrams and wiring interconnect diagrams
- Build and test avionics system components through lab, ground, and flight tests
- Manage concurrent involvement in multiple projects at various stages
- Participate in design reviews and provide input to identify issues and drive design choices
- Conduct root cause analysis in support of vehicle integration and field operations
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent
- Proficient in designing electrical harnessing for rugged commercial, industrial, aerospace, or military applications
- Familiarity with common electrical bus interfaces (CAN, Ethernet, RS422, RS232, MIL-STD-1553)
- Excellent communication skills
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with aircraft avionics module vendors and avionics component suppliers in UAS programs
- Experience with Siemens Capital software for 2D modeling and drafting
The salary range for this role is $129,000-$171,000 USD per year.
