Responsibilities

  • Leading the coordination and execution of technical activities throughout the sales lifecycle, including technical discovery, product demonstrations, and evaluations.
  • Serving as a hands-on expert for customers, analyzing their product development requirements and providing recommendations to enhance performance metrics.
  • Addressing application-specific design and simulation requirements using state-of-the-art electromagnetic simulation tools and platforms.
  • Developing and implementing differentiating simulation solutions, integrating them into customer design workflows, and expanding your domain expertise.
  • Collaborating with Product Development to translate customer needs into new product features and participating in the testing of new releases.
  • Supporting Field and Digital Marketing teams by developing promotional materials, supporting events, and authoring conference presentations.
  • Utilizing scripting and automation to streamline simulation workflows and improve productivity.
  • Leading professional service deliveries, conducting training classes, and contributing to customer success initiatives.

Requirements

  • BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years (BS), 3 years (MS), or 0 years (PhD) of professional experience in an engineering software environment.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with electromagnetic simulation tools such as Ansys Motor-CAD, Ansys Maxwell, or equivalent low-frequency electromagnetic finite element tools.
  • Expertise in optimization and design workflows for electric machines, including electromagnetic, thermal, and NVH analysis in high-tech sectors.
  • Knowledge of control integration and system modeling for e-motors and drivetrains.
  • Strong foundation in physics phenomena and simulation methods related to magnetic design, power loss, and efficiency.
  • Proficiency in scripting and workflow automation; Python experience highly preferred.
  • Logical problem-solving skills, excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, fluent in English.
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 10% of the time.
