Description
Okta is seeking an Account Executive to focus on new customer acquisition and growth in the Japan market.
The successful candidate will develop and execute strategies to manage the sales process for small to medium prospective customers, expand within existing accounts, and cultivate positive relationships with customers and partners.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and executing a comprehensive territory plan
- Prospecting, building, and maintaining a robust sales pipeline
- Working with partners to extend reach and identify new opportunities
- Presenting to C-level executives in-person
- Managing the sales cycle and key internal/external partners
- Accelerating customer adoption
- Managing contract negotiations
- Developing long-term strategic relationships with key accounts
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum 5 years of sales account management experience working for a technology vendor
- Previous sales experience across the Japan market
- A track record of success selling to small to medium sized businesses
- SaaS experience
- Strong verbal and written communications skills in Japanese, English is a plus
- Ability to work well in teams and a synergetic environment
- Extensive network of partnerships with customers, executives, and peers
- Experience working with channel partners
- Strong leadership skills
- BS/BA degree required
