Description

We are looking for a skilled IT Cybersecurity Risk Analyst to join our team. As an IT Cybersecurity Risk Analyst, you will act as an IT risk quantification analyst in Cybersecurity Governance, Risk, and Compliance, to evaluate and measure the potential impact of cybersecurity threats on an organization, using structured methodologies and industry frameworks, e.g. FAIR, MITRE, and NIST.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying, analyzing, and prioritizing risks based on likelihood and potential loss
  • Collaborating with cybersecurity teams and business stakeholders to ensure risk insights support organizational objectives and regulatory requirements
  • Developing and recommending mitigation strategies while translating complex technical findings into clear, data-driven guidance for decision-makers

You will also be responsible for:

  • Monitoring and improving IT risk processes, tools, and documentation
  • Updating risk scenarios, benchmarks, and mitigation strategies
  • Maintaining the Information Security Management System (ISMS)
  • Advising on balancing security controls with business impact
  • Conducting cybersecurity risk assessments and identifying control gaps
  • Documenting results, preparing management reports, and driving remediation
  • Developing and maintaining data, process, and event-based risk models
  • Quantifying risk, validating models, and communicating findings to stakeholders
  • Gathering, analyzing, and documenting cybersecurity risk data
  • Maintaining the risk register and data libraries
  • Partnering cross-functionally to implement risk mitigation
  • Staying current on cyber threats, regulations, and industry best practices

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's level degree in IT/IS/Cybersecurity or equivalent level of relevant industry experience
  • At least 3 or more years of demonstrable relevant experience in the industry, specifically in the cybersecurity space
  • Core skills including risk assessment, analytical thinking, communication, and strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, regulatory obligations, and evolving threat landscapes

This is an onsite position based in Ohio. Visa sponsorship is not eligible for this position. Relocation assistance is also not available.
