Description
We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our team in Bengaluru. As a Senior Product Designer, you will partner closely with our Bangalore office and US-based design team members to contribute to UX/UI direction and ensure quality and consistency for our product and services.
In this role, you will:
- End-to-end design ownership of product areas in partnership with IDC Product and Engineering – from early problem framing through final implementation
- Own direction and quality of your initiatives, including systems-level thinking about how your work connects to the broader product and design systems
- Drive UI decisions and deliver engineering-ready designs, flows, and components with a high bar for craft
- Raise the bar for design through the quality of your work and how you show up in brainstorms, reviews, and cross-functional partnership
- Work with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently, addressing any design-related issues or adjustments as needed
You will be responsible for owning the design direction and quality of your initiatives, including systems-level thinking about how your work connects to the broader product and design systems. You will also drive UI decisions and deliver engineering-ready designs, flows, and components with a high bar for craft.
The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of product design experience with a portfolio that shows end-to-end ownership, preferably for a mobile application, and the thinking behind your designs. You will be fluent in Figma, including design systems and prototyping for engineering handoff. You will also have comfort operating independently in an ambiguous environment and excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work both autonomously and effectively with cross-functional teams.
