Senior Security Specialist

As a Senior Security Specialist, you will strengthen Razer's cybersecurity posture and drive high-impact security initiatives. Your responsibilities include:

• Leading vulnerability assessments across networks, applications, cloud environments, and infrastructure
• Planning and executing advanced penetration testing activities
• Reviewing, strengthening, and optimizing security controls
• Monitoring, investigating, and responding to security alerts and incidents
• Serving as an escalation point for complex security incidents
• Reviewing, validating, and prioritizing bug bounty submissions
• Collaborating with IT, DevOps, Cloud, Risk, and Compliance teams to embed security best practices
• Advising business stakeholders on security risks and secure decision-making
• Supporting security awareness initiatives and strengthening security culture
• Contributing to security strategy, standards, and continuous improvement
• Using AI-assisted tools and automation to improve security testing and workflows

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree, postgraduate diploma, or professional qualification in Computer Science, Information Security, IT, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, ethical hacking, and IT/information security
• Industry certifications such as Security+, CEH, OSCP, eJPT, eWPT, GIAC, or similar
• Demonstrated leadership in team guidance, project ownership, and cross-functional influence
• Strong experience with offensive and defensive security tools
• Solid understanding of network protocols, web application security, and threat detection methodologies
• Hands-on experience with AWS security controls, IAM, networking, and Linux system administration
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and independent working skills
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
• Working knowledge of AI tools and automation
• Willingness to work on-site in i-City Shah Alam
