Description
Temporal is seeking a Senior Director of Global Solutions Architecture to lead our customer-facing technical team. As a key member of our organization, you will help prospects understand if their application is suitable for Temporal, position us successfully against alternative technologies, and create conditions in customer engineering organizations to expand the number of production applications using Temporal.
Key responsibilities include:
- Helping prospects understand if their application is suitable for Temporal
- Positioning Temporal successfully against alternative technologies or technical patterns
- Creating conditions in customer engineering organizations that allow them to expand the number of production applications using Temporal
- Partnering with Account Executives to develop and execute an overall account plan
- Owning the relationship with customer technical decision-makers in evaluating and operating Temporal applications
As a Senior Director of Global Solutions Architecture, you will have excellent technical communication skills, be comfortable discussing distributed system technologies, design decisions, and best practices, and be able to construct application prototypes and follow through with design, development, build, and deployment guidance using one of Temporal's supported languages.
Nice to haves include being able to come up to speed without any sales-specific training, partnering well with engineers working at customer organizations, and serving as a good technical coach.
