VCARB F1 Team - Programme Application Specialist

We're seeking a Programme Application Specialist to join our PMO Department. You'll be responsible for ensuring our project planning software supports business needs, coordinating project applications lifecycle, troubleshooting, and optimising. You'll also train internal users and manage vendors.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate programme applications, ensuring they're functional, up-to-date, and efficient
• Act as primary point of contact for end-users, resolving technical issues and restoring services
• Create comprehensive training materials and conduct training sessions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into technical specifications
• Work with third-party software developers and vendors, and internal IT team to integrate systems
• Develop, implement, and maintain in-house tools and small-scale software
• Run project reports using business intelligence tools

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent industry experience
• Operational understanding of PLM and ERP systems
• Good skills in MS SQL and Python programming language and frameworks
• Ability to evaluate business workflows, diagnose root causes of system errors, and develop viable solutions
• Proficient in using PowerBI for data analysis and business intelligence reporting
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms
• Proactive approach to work, able to quickly understand business needs and suggest feasible solutions
• High level of organisational skills, with ability to work both independently and as a team player
• Able to work to tight deadlines
• Proficiency in English and Italian
