Physical Therapist Assistant - Skilled Nursing / Home Health

Sanford Health, the largest rural health system in the United States, is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in Grand Island and Hastings. The successful candidate will work full-time, 35-40 hours per week, assisting patients with therapy activities and exercises under the supervision of a physical therapist.

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients/residents/clients with therapy activities and exercises scheduled in a treatment plan
• Select, implement, and modify therapeutic activities and interventions consistent with demonstrated competency levels and patient goals
• Provide, monitor, and record therapy services to patients/residents/clients with physical, cognitive, developmental impairments
• Contribute to the process of exchanging information with and providing documentation to the physical therapist about patient responses to and communications during intervention

Requirements:

• Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure
• Graduate of an approved American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) program as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state(s) of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within six months of employment

Benefits:

• Salary range: $24.00 - $38.50
