We are looking for a CAD/PLM Program Manager to work with our team of developers and partner with cross-functional teams across the company to develop customizations, optimize workflows, and ensure engineering tools do not limit the speed of engineering design.
Responsibilities
- You will work with a high-functioning team of engineers in various cross-functional teams with an emphasis on identifying and finishing business-critical projects.
- You will help troubleshoot technical issues including those related to deployment, configuration, and ongoing support.
- You create training content that people actually want to use because it's clear, practical, and solves real problems.
- You form recommendations based on deep experimentation and hands-on testing, not just what the manual says.
- You understand how data moves through our various downstream systems and optimize data flow.
- You are able to identify overlapping capabilities and optimize for the global organization.

Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a design engineering role building products, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems Engineering or related technical field (or equivalent education/work experience).
- You prioritize solutions that deliver immediate value to engineers over perfect but complex approaches.
- You possess deep expertise in at least one engineering discipline and its associated tool stack (CAD, CAE, PLM, or discipline-specific applications).
- You have hands-on experience using engineering design tools and can quickly learn new platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using a wide array of engineering design tools across multiple disciplines.
- Training, instructional design, or technical education experience.
- Basic knowledge of scripting, automation, or tool customization.
- Understanding of data flow between engineering systems (CAD, PLM, ERP, MES).
- Experience in startup, defense, aerospace, or high-growth manufacturing environments.
