Medical Assistant

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team at Family Health Specialists in Lees Summit, MO. As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and administrative support to our healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist healthcare providers with patient exams and procedures
• Take vital signs and update patient charts
• Prepare patients for exams and procedures
• Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers
• Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of a medical assisting program or equivalent experience
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
