Procure-to-Pay Operations Specialist

You'll join Spotify's Finance team, supporting our Procure-to-Pay (PTP) operations across North America. This team plays a key role in ensuring our financial processes run smoothly at scale,partnering closely with teams across Finance, Tax, Treasury, and beyond. Your work will help maintain the accuracy of our financial records while contributing to improvements that make our systems smarter and more efficient.

Responsibilities

• Support accounts payable operations, including invoice processing, payments, and vendor management across the PTP cycle

• Contribute to month-end close activities such as accruals, journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting

• Maintain accurate subledger records and support vendor master data updates and data quality

• Partner with internal stakeholders across Finance, Tax, Treasury, and Financial Engineering to resolve issues and improve processes

• Engage with vendors and internal teams, providing clear and professional communication

• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and support new business needs as they arise

• Use automation and AI tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of AP processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field

• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role

• Experienced working with ERP systems and financial tools

• Comfortable working with large datasets and using Excel to analyze data

• Prioritise work and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with a range of stakeholders

• Care about accuracy and take pride in maintaining high-quality financial data

• Curious and open to improving processes, including using automation or AI

• Adapt well to change and navigate evolving priorities

The United States base range for this position is $66,189–$94,556USD, plus equity.
