Investment Guidelines Compliance - Associate

Portfolio Compliance Implementation Team at BlackRock seeks an Associate to interpret and analyze client investment guidelines and code them in BlackRock's compliance system, primarily within the Aladdin network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret client Investment Management Agreements and translate guidelines into code using compliance rules in the Aladdin platform
• Update coding for guideline changes requested by clients
• Craft new system rules and improve existing compliance coding
• Troubleshoot potential errors and identify coding issues
• Maintain Legal & Compliance Restricted Lists
• Participate in efficiency and improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Experience in the investment management industry and knowledge of investment products
• Background in finance or similar fields preferred
• Familiarity with programming languages, especially SQL/Python, is a plus
• Strong IT skills and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a rapidly changing environment and meet deadlines
