The role requires the candidate to be in Vancouver office - 5 days a week (Onsite). It's a 12 month contract role.
Responsibilities:
- Operations
- Continuously improve farm deployment processes and operational practices
- Work with Operations Team to develop and refine support processes and technologies
- Partner with Development teams to design and enhance assisted and automated solutions
- Support
- Manage endpoint farms, including both devices and environments
- Troubleshoot, debug, and recover offline endpoints
- Install and decommission endpoints as required
- Perform firmware upgrades on supported devices
- Reimage systems including PCs and Macs
- Configure, build, and modify farm environments, such as deploying new racks
- Install and remove power distribution units (PDUs)
- Collaborate with L2 and L3 technicians to resolve escalated issues
- Participate in the on-call rotation to support the local studio after hours as necessary

- Familiarity with endpoint platforms, including consoles, PCs, Macs, and mobile devices
- Experience with supporting desktop, laptop, or mobile platforms, including Windows 10, Windows 11, macOS, iOS, and Android
- Familiarity with Active Directory and enterprise management tools such as SCCM
- Familiarity with studio development tools, such as Perforce, Visual Studio
- Understanding of console development environments such as Microsoft GDK, Sony SDK, and Nintendo SDK
- Applies strong inventory management practices
- Basic proficiency with scripting and programming languages such as Python and PowerShell
- Basic proficiency with automation tools and platforms, including Jenkins and GitLab CI
- Basic proficiency with Windows and Unix-based operating systems, including file paths, environment variables, command-line usage, processes, system logs, and services
- Awareness of hardware standards and upcoming technology releases
Nice To Have:
- Extensive experience with Asset Management System(s)
- Extensive experience with CM & CI/CD systems (e.g. Jenkins) and practices
- Extensive experience with developing automation scripts
- Extensive experience with Windows system tools
- Experience with metrics gathering and visualization tool (e.g. Splunk, Elastic Search, Kibana, PowerBI, Grafana)
- Familiarity with foundational networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP
- Familiarity working within a data center
