Description
As a Technical Specialist-FNV Diagnostics Cloud, you will work with the diagnostics cloud team to design and develop Java micro-services. These micro-services handle various business-critical tasks such as connected vehicle diagnostics data ingestion, diagnostics data search-ability, bulk log searches, stack trace generation, automated Jira creation, and more. You will be responsible for strategically identifying and eliminating critical bottlenecks across complex system architectures, leading the definition and evolution of high-level architectural designs for new projects and significant enhancements to existing systems, and driving advanced optimization strategies for micro-service ecosystems.
You will also be responsible for architecting and developing impactful user-facing features that improve the productivity and diagnostic capabilities of thousands of Ford engineers, defining and implementing initiatives for improving stack trace generation success rate for software process crash data, designing and implementing other post-processing activities such as transcription, DID decoding, or others to enhance the value of our data to Ford engineers, and fostering collaboration and architecting integrations between embedded/vehicle-side diagnostics teams and the cloud team, creating a unified diagnostic ecosystem.
As a Technical Specialist-FNV Diagnostics Cloud, you will provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers and perform rigorous, high-quality code reviews to ensure robust and maintainable code.
