Description
We are looking for a Senior Signal Processing Engineer to join our rapidly growing team in Costa Mesa, CA. In this role, you will lead the development of discrimination algorithms for EO/IR sensors that classify and distinguish threats from decoys, debris, and clutter in real-time operational environments.
Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing signal processing pipelines, developing advanced decision logic, analysing and optimising algorithms for EO/IR sensor phenomenology, and building physics-based models to validate discrimination performance.
You will also collaborate with software engineers to transition discrimination algorithms from prototypes to production code, mentor engineers, and provide technical leadership on signal processing approaches and best practices.
As a Senior Signal Processing Engineer, you will engage with customers and stakeholders to understand mission needs, present discrimination solutions, and demonstrate system performance.
