Software Engineer, iOS

We're looking for inquisitive, well-rounded iOS engineers to join our Platform/Product engineering teams. You'll play a crucial role in enabling the newest technologies and experiences, building robust frameworks and features, and empowering developers and Pinners alike.

Responsibilities:

• Build out Pinner-facing frontend features in iOS to power the future of inspiration on Pinterest
• Contribute to and lead each step of the product development process, from ideation to implementation to release
• Partner with design, product, and backend teams to build end-to-end functionality
• Suggest new product ideas and features from a Pinner's perspective
• Employ automated testing to build features with high technical quality
• Grow as an engineer by working with world-class peers on varied and high-impact projects
• Leverage AI to seek faster execution and explore alternative options
• Leverage AI to synthesize information and automate repeatable tasks

Requirements:

• Deep understanding of iOS development and best practices in Objective C and/or Swift
• 2+ years of industry iOS application development experience
• Experience in following best practices in writing reliable and maintainable code
• Ability to keep up-to-date with new technologies
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science
• Demonstrated ability to use AI to improve speed and quality in your day-to-day workflow
• Strong track record of critical evaluation and verification of AI-assisted work
• High integrity and ownership

Benefits:

• Salary range: $139,378 - $189,378 CAD
• In-office collaboration 1-2 times per half
